I saw  ”From the Back of The Room,” (www.fromthebackoftheroom.com/home.htm) a documentary about women in the punk (mostly hardcore) scene, and it got me thinking. Hardcore may be more lacking in female presence, but a lot of the scenes that I love musically have lots of women involved. The LA punk scene especially - X, the Bags, the Go-Go’s, the Avengers… and that’s just a few. Basically I’ve been thinking lately about all the girl bands I like, and here’s one from the Paisley Underground 80’s garage revival scene. Again, from LA -The Pandoras!
